A new firm offering publishing and consultancy services to e-gaming clients has opted for an Isle of Man license, citing high ethical standards and business-friendly regulation as the reasons behind its choice.
[dropcap]E[/dropcap]-Gaming start-up AdoptIt Publishing, a firm providing publishing, content creation and consultancy services to remote gaming clients, has picked the Isle of Man as its jurisdiction of choice to start and grow the business.
Citing the “progressive and business friendly” approach of the Isle of Man government, co-director Mike Hebden said the jurisdiction had also achieved the “highest standards of integrity” in online gaming regulation.
The rigorous technical and ethical standards adopted by the Isle of Man and UK Governments represents the gold standard for E-Gaming and form the basis for emerging gaming legislation worldwide.
“It is fantastic to be headquartered in a jurisdiction holding the highest standards of integrity,” he said. “The rigorous technical and ethical standards adopted by the Isle of Man and UK Governments represents the gold standard for E-Gaming and form the basis for emerging gaming legislation worldwide.”
Mark Robson, head of e-gaming at the Isle of Man’s Department of Economic Development, said the government had consciously tried to produce an environment that was welcoming to start-ups.
“Working with existing companies on the Island, the Department has focussed on creating a start-up friendly environment for new E-Gaming businesses and it is a pleasure to welcome AdoptIt Publishing to the Isle of Man,” he commented. “The incentives, funding opportunities and regulatory structures the Isle of Man offers continue to set the Island apart as a centre of excellence for E-Gaming and an incubator for new businesses.”
