[dropcap]L[/dropcap]as Vegas-based Aruze Gaming will be bringing a host of innovations to this year’s G2E expo, with the new Cube-X brand taking centre stage on the company’s booth.

Making its debut at the Sands Expo in September is Cube-X Vertical. The cabinet features a stunning LCD button panel and vertically integrated 42-inch HD monitor.

The newest titles coming out exclusively on the Cube-X Vertical feature three different frames in which players can choose their own volatility level. To keep the excitement going, Aruze has added a 23- inch customised topper with LED effects to compliment the cabinet lighting.

The first two titles for the cabinet – Tower Stack Lion and Tower Stack Dragon – will be available during the third quarter of the year. Also on display at G2E this year is Cube-X Ultimate, which features a large mechanical wheel topper and Radiant Reels – a revolutionary spin on stepper technology.

Cube-X Ultimate has been designed with large reels dynamically illuminated by multi-coloured LED lights and variable spin speed that build anticipation for winning combinations. It comes equipped with high-resolution monitor, vibrant photo-realistic colour, latest 3-D graphics technology, customised sound and music with a built-in subwoofer.

Cube-X Innovator, meanwhile, features a large 24-inch high-definition monitor, a Liquid Crystal Display topper and button panel. Also fitted out with Radiant Reels, the cabinet includes a next-generation processor board and operating system that provides the power and capability to accommodate innovative game features for years to come.

In addition, Aruze will also demonstrate G-Stations in Las Vegas this year. The multi-terminal G-Station machines spice up casinos with their sophisticated cabinet designs and grandiose scale. Computer graphic dealers, brought to life in high definition using the latest technology, effectively recreate the look and feel of actual table games. Exciting sound and illumination effects provide players with a feast for the senses.

Aruze Gaming heads to G2E this year after having recently announced the promotion of Melissa Sweitzer to the position of senior vice president of sales. Sweitzer is now responsible for all sales functions throughout North America, Latin America and the Caribbean.

She joined Aruze in October 2011 and has held management positions which included, regional sales manager, director of sales for the western region, vice president of corporate accounts, and vice president of sales.

Yugo Kinoshita, Aruze’s global chief operating officer, said: “Melissa’s promotion reflects her long and consistent history of exceeding goals and expectations.”
