Botswana’s Avani Gaborone Resort and Casino is back open for business following the completion of a large-scale property renovation costing close to $7.5m.
The property is enviably positioned in the heart of Gaborone’s bustling business district, home to the nation’s stock exchange and a number of high-profile financial institutions.
Bringing the location up to the level of its surroundings has led to wholesale upgrades to guest rooms, public spaces and the grand entrance.
Alejandro Bernabe, vice president of operations of Avani Hotels and Resorts said, “The focus of the renovation has been to enhance the guest experience in all areas of the hotel. We are confident our guests will enjoy the updated look and substantive business and leisure improvements.”
“AvaniI Gaborone is now the capital’s leading leisure and business resort.
“Avani Gaborone is ideally located for leisure and business travellers and local residents’ seeking great food and a variety of entertainment options,” commented Riaan van Rooyen, general manager of the resort.
