iGaming provider Betsoft Gaming was named Best Casino Supplier of the year at the 2018 Malta iGaming Excellence Awards (MIGEA).
More than 20 different awards were distributed by hosts at the second annual MIGEA, after being adjudicated by a panel that included representatives from the country’s Gaming Authority, as well as high-profile consultants, iGaming experts, legal firms, and investment bodies.
While the MIGEA terms stipulated that, to be shortlisted, companies must demonstrate a strong connection with Malta, competition remained fierce for marquee awards such as Best Casino Supplier. Many of the world’s leading casino content providers have maintained operations in the island nation for many years, so the company ran against various well-established names before being honoured as Malta’s finest supplier of online slot games and supporting solutions.

While the judging criteria were far-ranging, the firm’s success was attributed to the company’s content portfolio – including the sought-after Slots3 series – as well as its forward-thinking platforms and frameworks. These include the Shift HTML5 development environment, the comprehensive Casino Manager back office platform, and Vault, a new solution designed to extend its presence to emerging markets where data connectivity is normally considered an insurmountable obstacle.
This regional award comes just over a month since Betsoft’s broader international impact was honoured with the award of Best B2B Digital Platform and Solution at G2E Asia.
