BMM to drive Tribal Regulatory “Road Trip”

BMM Testlabs has confirmed it will host a complimentary Tribal Regulatory “Road Trip” Symposium for regulators and operators on August 8-9, 2017.

The complimentary informational event will be hosted by Morongo Tribal Gaming Agency at the Morongo Casino, Resort and Spa in Cabazon, California.

BMM’s Director Tribal Gaming and NIGA Board Member, Jodi DiLascio said: “BMM is excited to host the “Road Trip” symposium for Tribal regulators and operators in California. We have constructed the agenda to include the most informational, up-to-date and relevant topics in the industry and we have invited leading specialists to speak. We are committed to Tribal gaming regulators in providing access to educational events to support success in Tribal jurisdictions.”

During the two-day event BMM speakers will include DiLascio; EVP Operations, Travis Foley; Director of Technical Compliance & Strategic Development, Jason Elison; Director Technical Compliance, Peter Nikiper; and VP Business Development, Mike Ornstein, as well as industry professionals George Joseph from Worldwide Gaming Consultants; Blaine Graboyes from Gameco; Marcus Yoder from Gamblit; Les Stanley from Rincon Gaming Commission and James Schreiber from Forest County Potawatomi Gaming Commission.

The Tribal Regulatory “Road Trip” Symposium will feature a variety of topics, including:

  • The Basics – Introduction to an Independent Test Lab and their Responsibilities
  • What is your Forensic Emergency Response Plan?
  • Staying Ahead of the Gaming Curve and the Regulations – An ITL’s Approach to Testing the Next Generation of Gaming Products.

DiLascio continued: “Alongside the informative tracks, The San Pasqual and Rincon Gaming Commissions will be hosting a fun and social Drum Room Gathering on the first day of the event, Tuesday August 8 from 7-9pm, to encourage fellow regulators and operators to connect and celebrate. The BMM team looks forward to seeing many new and familiar faces at the Gathering.”
