As Romania adopts detailed technical regulations for operators, manufacturers and all gaming related activities, BMM Testlabs is now currently in the process of completing its licence in the country.
[dropcap]B[/dropcap]MM Testlabs has confirmed its expansion into Romania and its commitment to service the Romanian market.
Estimated to generate more than E1.2bn annually, with 12,000 gambling halls and 70,000 slot machines, Romania is an attractive opportunity for many well established gambling businesses, whether social, mobile or land-based.
With growth in mind, Romania recently adopted detailed technical regulations for operators, manufacturers and all gaming related activities.
Kirk White, executive vice president and general manager of BMM’s international division, said: “It is very important to BMM that we maintain our full iGaming coverage in Europe to ensure that our clients have the most effective and efficient market entry process, hence this expansion into Romania. BMM is currently in the process of completing our Romanian licence and we expect to receive it very soon.”
Marzia Turrini, senior vice president of southern Europe and South America for the testlab, added, “BMM has been servicing customers in the Romanian market for some time through our three European testlabs. We are fully committed to gaining Class II licensure in the region. At this time, we are completely able to meet our customers’ needs and encourage them to consult with us with regards to their requirements in Romania.”
