BMM Testlabs has announced an internship programme with the American Indian Science & Engineering Society (AISES) designed for Tribal students.
Applications for the 2018 BMM Testlabs Internship Program are now being accepted through 16 February, 2018.
The ten-week internship will run from June through August 2018 at BMM’s headquarters in Las Vegas.
As a donor to the AISES scholarship fund for a number of years, BMM and AISES created the internship to further Tribal students’ opportunities.
BMM’s Jodi DiLascio said: “BMM is honored to be a part of a program that supports education for Tribal students. Our commitment to the Tribal community is great and we can only hope to continue to work with amazing organizations, like AISES, to expand their opportunities.”
Kellie Jewett-Fernandez (Cheyenne River Lakota), director of business and program development with AISES added: “Internships provide AISES students with opportunities to explore career options and gain valuable work experience.
The program will provide students with applied work experience and an opportunity to explore career options in the casino gaming industry.
The intern will assist test engineers as part of a team responsible for: assessing gaming technology integrity, accountability and functionality, performing statistical analysis of gaming device and game probabilities, reviewing gaming device and system source code and assist with the development of testing procedures.
