Crystal Display Systems Ltd has released a new range of ARM based computer solutions designed specifically for the gaming market.

[dropcap]C[/dropcap]rystal Display Systems Ltd. (CDS), the specialist distributor of electronic displays, touch screens and related components, has confirmed the launch of its new range of ARM based solutions.

Comprising of both single-board-computer (SBC) and complete human machine interface (HMI), the company claim its new range is targeted towards the gaming market.

A CDS spokesperson said: “This flexible modular system means customers can order exactly what they need and nothing else. So they do not pay for features they do not need, but can upgrade using the same base system should they need it in the future.

Our single board computers are dedicated for vanilla headless designs to give customers that flexibility to use whichever display they wish, but if they are planning to connect a display themselves we have Open Frame HMI solutions with the system already configured with a specific panel which offers an easy ready to go solution. We already have many pre-configured panel solutions which speeds up our customers’ time to market and gives a competitive advantage.”
