Century Casino has announced it will open the doors of its latest property in Bath, UK, on 25 May. The Colorado-based operator began development of the venue in 2017, one of the stalled small casino licences of the Gambling Act 2005.
“All of us at Century Casino Bath are tremendously excited about welcoming the public to the opening of our casino,” said business development manager Kartini Sutoto.
“The casino will be a fantastic new addition to the entertainment and nightlife of Bath and will offer facilities and an environment worthy of the already wonderful city.”
The casino’s gaming floor will feature 18 gaming tables, 35 slot machines and 24 automated live gaming terminals.
The casino itself will also be part of a 147 bedroom four-star hotel, containing its own Italian restaurant and the Beau Nash suite, “an exclusive elegant top floor room with its own balcony, available for private hire and gaming.”
“Each floor will deliver quintessential card games and roulette, as well as the latest in gaming technology for those seeking a more modern experience,” said Sutoto.
As the only licensed casino in the greater Bath area, the venue is expected to exercise a catchment area of approximately 185,000 permanent residents, alongside five million tourists annually.
“We are excited about the opportunity to enter the UK gaming market with the addition of the Saw Close Casino to Century’s portfolio,” said joint CEOs Erwin Haitzmann and Peter Hoetzinger.
“We believe the casino in Bath has the potential to provide an attractive return on our investment.”
