CPI were at BEGE with their first stand since 2010 – a return sparked by the increased popularity of the show, as well as an upturn in the regional market.
[dropcap]A[/dropcap]nd the visit was one they were looking forward to as Slava Bavlovnev of Crane Payment Innovation explained: “This is the first year we are taking a bigger part in the show. We saw the market was growing and there is now a lot of players out here so we decided to present something.”
The company pride themselves on quality and reliability over a cheap selling price and believe that these are characteristics that the market is really looking for at this moment.
“We know that people are ready to pay more for a high class product. Reliability will always make it more cost effective.”
After recent acquisitions CPI has grown into a true global force and were looking to build on this enhanced reputation at BEGE by showing what Bavlovnev described as an iconic, “Here we are” product.
We have products fitting different markets, requirements even fitting different equipment, so we can choose the product best suited.
The company did so with a firm focus on the Eastern European market, handpicking the product from their wider portfolio. It is in this range, and flexibility of product that Bavlovnev believes CPI will see great success.
“We have products fitting different markets, requirements even fitting different equipment, so we can choose the product best suited. We can do this by functionality, or even by price if the market so dictates.”
Bavlovnev was keen to praise the scope of the Balkan show as a market research, and networking occasion.
“Our product is really unique, it is very, very new. I know some markets may not be quite ready for it, but there are manufacturers here that work in other markets where we can see new opportunities for our products to really fit.”
