The Cyprus Gaming Show will be taking place 20-21 September at the Hilton Hotel in Nicosia, and will feature discussions on the Integrated Casino Resort, Europe’s first integrated casino project, which is expected to open in 2019.
The two-day conference and gaming exhibition will feature a speaker panel with “some of the most distinguished and forward-thinking leaders and regulators in the gaming industry,” the organisers said.
Ioanna Fiakkou, chair of the National Betting Authority and Christos Mavrellis, chair of the Cyprus National Gaming and Casino Supervision Committee will kick off the show by presenting the current gaming and betting regulatory framework and casino and gaming regime in Cyprus to the delegates.
A panel to tackle the impact and opportunities of the proposed Integrated Casino Resort will feature Andy Choy, property president at Melco Resorts & Entertainment, Philippos Katranis, head of the procurement directorate of the Treasury of the Republic of Cyprus, Simon Oaten, partner and global head of gaming at Deloitte LLP, and Soteris Scholaris, principal at Scholaris Consulting.
There will also be a ‘Future of Gaming in Cyprus’ panel discussion, which will focus on the possibility of Cyprus becoming a regional gaming centre and be chaired by Graham Martin, chair of Cardinal International Group.
