Euro Games Technology (EGT) marked its 15 year anniversary in March 2017 in addition to reporting a successful year of growth throughout 2016.
EGT has marked its 15 year jubilee in March 2017 following a key year of expansion and business developments in 2016.
During those 15 years, the company has swiftly expanded to 1300 employees within 20 offices around the globe with machines operated across over 80 countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and North, Central and South America.
EGT also confirmed that 2016 saw it continue to expand its growing line of sustainable development whilst reporting a significant leap in sales by 30%.
Last year also saw the company move into several new jurisdictions in Spain and USA and also entered the markets of Netherlands, Belgium, Russia and Morocco.
The manufacturing capacity of EGT has grown by 30%, totaling 16,000 gaming stations for the year, and its sales and distribution network has expanded with three new offices in Peru, Colombia and Mexico, strengthening the company’s positions in the highly potential Latin America.
In addition the manufacturer secured a contract for the distribution of its VLT gaming equipment in Italy with the local key player in the industry GlobalStarnet Ltd.
EGT Interactive also entered the sport betting niche with its online casino platform and the Spider CMS added several new modules on its path to further deployment.
In 2016 Euro Games Technology introduced its first curved slot cabinets – Super Premier, P-42V St and P-42V Up, as well as the jackpot systems Fu Gui Rong Hua, 4 Happy Hits, 3 Happy Hits, many new multigame mixes and the new Lucky Circle Cash.
EGT also received significant recognition in 2016 with Lucky Circle Cash being immediately nominated in the top 10 land-based gaming innovations of the year in the GGA competition, and the company receiving two recognitions – the “Most successful business, 2016” in VIP Business Awards competition and the “True Leader 2015” accolade in ICAP Bulgaria.
The manufacturer was ranked 12th out of 300 most successful Bulgarian enterprises from all industries. In 2016 EGT has also widened its presence at international exhibitions and trade events, taking part for a first time in the Irish Gaming Show, Indian Gaming Show, Peru Gaming Show and iGaming Show, where all its product novelties had a warm reception from the visitors.
EGT claims that 2017 is shaping to be as ambitious as its expectations with plans to further increase its manufacturing capacity to 20,000 gaming stations per year with another 30% sales growth.
The manufacturer also intends to solidify its positions in Central and South America, penetrating the markets of Costa Rica and Chile, and to gain ground in several more USA jurisdictions. In Europe EGT claims it will work towards establishing its AWP portfolio in Spain and VLT products in Italy, adding also UK as a targeted region.
