EGT has launched a new regional office in Prague which will be headed by gaming industry veterans Ivan Grigorov and Adam Vajdak.
Euro Games Technology is becoming part of the Czech gaming industry with the opening of the firm’s new office in the country’s capital.
The new regional office in Prague will coordinate sales and service operations in the Czech Republic. It will also cover the country’s border regions, often considered a distinct segment of the local market.
The office will be headed by gaming industry veterans Ivan Grigorov and Adam Vajdak, who possess more than 15 years of experience in the sector.
Leading a team of 13 professionals, they will endeavour to provide a top range of gaming content and products, aligned to the local specifics.
“The regional gaming market is well developed,” said Vajdak. “Nevertheless, compared to other countries it lacks the presence of recognised global brands and that’s where we see a lot of potential.
“The gaming regulations and requirements in the Czech Republic are very strict and can represent a serious entrance barrier for new providers, but we are accustomed to meeting such exacting criteria and are confident that we’ll be able to achieve satisfying results across the next few years.
Vajdak said the new office will be working closely with EGT’s R&D department to tailor the company’s products to meet local specifics, particularly when it comes to software.
“Some of our major advantages include the vast experience my partner Mr. Grigorov and I have accumulated from our global operations over the years, together with the speed of service we’ve achieved and our first-hand knowledge of our base of customers and players,” he added.
The Czech office will provide EGT’s complete slot portfolio, along with EGT Multiplayer’s solutions and EGT Interactive’s online content. Currently, the company offers the P-24/24 Up, P-27/27 St Slim and P-27/32H St cabinets and the Green and Blue Collection multigame mixes, each featuring 12 diverse and appealing titles.
“The Czech market is mainly oriented to slant top and upright cabinets, as well as fruit-themed games, and EGT is very strong in these areas,” said Grigorov. “EGT’s slogan ‘We give more’ speaks volumes and really encapsulates what we’re looking to achieve.”
The company has hit the ground running and is already planning to install 300 gaming machines within the next two to three months.
“Unfortunately the COVID-19 crisis has affected all industries, gaming included, and has slowed down our plans a bit,” Grigorov explained. “In the Czech Republic, a common saying during the state of emergency has been ‘Together we will manage’. As the casino business is slowly returning to normality, hopefully we will soon be able to affirm that we did indeed manage together.
“At the end of the day, the success of our local office will be measured by the number of satisfied customers. This is my priority and the core mission for our team,” he concluded.
