May 26 will see the Euromat Gaming Summit (EGS), the only industry event dedicated solely to the land-based gaming sector, take place in Barcelona.
200 industry leaders, press and policy makers will take part in the interactive summit, which will be held at the Hotel Majestic in the historic centre of Barcelona.
Delegates will be granted unprecedented opportunity to discuss the industry’s latest commercial and regulatory trends with peers, regulators, politicians and the media, and will contribute to setting policy and business agendas for the years ahead.
Building on last year’s success and the acclaimed presence of major press and industry stakeholders, this year includes a panel session of regulators including Harrie Temmink, the European Commission’s lead policy official for gaming, along with panels on convergence, player tracking and who drives the gaming machine market in Europe. EGS aims to set the policy and business agenda for years ahead, reinforcing key relationships between its main stakeholders and improving the commercial performance of the sector overall.
“I’m really pleased to welcome Europe’s land-based gaming sector to my home city of Barcelona next year,” said the trade body’s president Eduardo Antoja. “The Euromat Gaming Summit is a chance for industry peers to reflect, learn and prepare for changes in the market and in regulation. EGS is the only event dedicated to gaming machines and its programme for 2016 is rich with content and top-level speakers.”
