Everi Holdings Inc. has confirmed that a player in Thackerville has won the first ever Jackpot Lockdown jackpot prize totaling more than $116,000.

The casino industry gaming product and payment solution provider, Everi Holdings Inc, has reported the first ever winner of the top Jackpot Lockdown™ jackpot.

On April 1, the winner took home a jackpot of more than $116,000 while playing the Jackpot Lockdown High Voltage™ three-reel mechanical game theme, one of two games featured on the new Jackpot Lockdown Wide-Area Progressive (“WAP”) link from Everi.

Following the win, which took place at the WinStar World Casino and Resort in Thackerville, OK, the Jackpot Lockdown base jackpot has been reset to $100,000.

“Our new Jackpot Lockdown wide-area-progressive jackpot games have proven to be very popular with casino patrons since their introduction several weeks ago and we are excited to share in the thrill of the first jackpot win,” said Dean Ehrlich, Executive Vice President and Games Business Leader for Everi.  “We will soon install these entertaining games in more casinos and more markets, adding additional licensed content to the jackpot build-up and eventual big wins.  Our WAP games are an important component of our overall product strategy and we’ve gotten off to an exciting start.”

Jackpot Lockdown, one of the first WAP links developed exclusively for Class II markets, went live at four casinos in Oklahoma in late February. The Jackpot Lockdown WAP link and game themes are expected to debut at additional casinos in Oklahoma, Texas, California, Arizona and Wisconsin over the next several months.
