Gamesman, the industry’s leading gaming equipment components and systems manufacturer has got 2018 off to a memorable start setting new sales records in January followed one month later with its most successful showing at ICE London an event where it celebrated its fifth anniversary as part of the Esterline Corporation.

Reflecting on a memorable first 60 days of the new year, Martin Rigby, said: “It’s really positive to hit the ground running In this way. While having such an upbeat start doesn’t necessarily guarantee a good year, it does put a spring in the corporate step and invigorate the team for the challenges that undoubtedly lie ahead. We didn’t anticipate registering a record month for button sales and equally, we did not expect to receive a presentation from ICE London organisers, Clarion Gaming, to mark five years of being part of the Esterline Corporation.”

He added “It was a great honour to be recognised in this way by what we regard as our ‘home show’ and an annual fixture that has provided a backdrop to key landmarks in the company history. ICE London is the event at which Gamesman was officially launched and also where we announced that we were joining the Esterline family. This show has played a major part in our development and it has a track record for delivering an exceptional audience of gaming professionals from every conceivable jurisdiction. This year was no exception with three days of back-to-back meetings with both existing and potential customers. What’s good about ICE London is that it works on so many levels. The practical benefits of bringing so many key people together at the same venue are immeasurable. I think it’s also extremely valuable to see all aspects of gaming and every gaming vertical in one professional and relevant environment. It gives a sense of proportion and perspective and provides a window on the key trends in an industry that is one of the earliest and most enthusiastic adopters of new technologies.”

ICE London has fired the starting pistol on a trilogy of leading events that Gamesman exhibit at which comprise G2E Asia in May and G2E Las Vegas in October.
