Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) has announced the tenth annual Latin American and Caribbean Regulations Roundtable.

Hosted by GLI’s world-renowned GLI University® and produced by GLI Director Karen Marcela Sierra-Hughes and her team of experts, the Regulators Roundtable is a two-day, educational event held free of charge exclusively for gaming and lottery regulators and government lotteries.

Taking place 9-10 October at the Radisson Decapolis Hotel in Panama City, Panama, the Regulators Roundtable will offer attendees insights into a variety of relevant gaming and lottery topics including technology, anti-money laundering, and, of course, regulation.

Sierra-Hughes said: “The Latin American and Caribbean Regulators Roundtable has reached a very important milestone this year – its 10th year – and we are so grateful to all of the regulators and government lotteries that have supported us in our efforts to produce a well-rounded conference.

“The Regulators Roundtable provides attendees a unique opportunity to not only share knowledge with their peers, but also network with each other and discuss their own experiences in the gaming industry,” she added.

Courtesy of the Gaming Control Board of Panama, the conference program includes on-site demonstrations at the Majestic Casino at Multicentro on the second day of the conference.

There will be three different types of demonstrations: money laundering prevention methods; field inspection verification procedures for gaming devices; and field inspection verification procedures for monitoring and control systems and communication testing.
