Genting Casino Cromwell Mint will rebrand to Forty Five Kensington following multi-million-pound refurbishment.

Genting Casino Cromwell Mint will undergo a multi-million pound refurbishment which will see the club rebrand as Forty Five Kensington. The new cosmopolitan venue will combine world class gaming and a first class dining experience in the heart of South Kensington.

The property, located at 45 Cromwell Road, which initially opened for business in the early 1960s as the ’45 Club, will receive a complete makeover. The gaming area will be upgraded with the addition of a new private gaming room and there will be a greater focus on hospitality, with changes to bar and restaurant.

The size of the electronic gaming area is set to increase with the addition of more electronic gaming tables. Meanwhile, the main gaming floor will undergo significant upgrades and continue to offer customers a tailored gaming experience hosted by some of the UK’s finest croupiers.

Forty Five Kensington will be open to both casino members and non-members. The addition of a first-class gaming room will offer guests the opportunity to play privately, away from the main gaming floor in an intimate setting.

As part of the venues renewed focus on hospitality, Forty Five Kensington’s bar and restaurant area will undergo a full refurbishment to enhance its look and feel. The décor will be modernised and the addition of warm lighting throughout will create a relaxing environment for customers away from the gaming floor.

The drinks menu will also be upgraded to include a wider selection of beverages while the restaurant will see the addition of a new chef team and Arabic style menu.

Gary Moore, Director at Genting Casino Cromwell Mint, said “We are incredibly excited to announce the extensive refurbishment and rebrand of the casino to Forty Five Kensington. Our aim is to provide South Kensington with a cosmopolitan and prestigious casino experience that is open to both regular members as well as those visiting the area on holiday or on business.

“At Genting UK we pride ourselves on providing our customers with a premium gaming experience that we deliver in an enjoyable and safe environment. The new club will reflect this, and we are looking forward to welcoming our customers through the doors this Autumn.”
Work on the casino is currently underway and the casino will continue to operate as normal during the refurbishment. The work is scheduled to be completed in October 2019.
