Hailing the “overwhelming customer response over the past two years,” GeWeTe will return to the Balkan Entertainment & Gaming Expo this year, following a significant increase in Balkan market demand.

From 21 to 22 November, the cash handling expert will display its extensive product portfolio, aimed at further solidifying its reputation in the growing customer base.

“We have been receiving more and more enquiries from the Balkan region in recent years,” said managing director Aristidis Tsikouras. “We have adapted our systems to the requirements of installers and operators there.”

“Thanks to our wide range of products and our own development, we can record a steady increase in sales in the Balkan region. We are therefore delighted to be presenting our innovations at BEGE again this year.” With 2018 marking the firm’s 25th year, GeWeTe will also be celebrating 60,000 machine installations world- wide, including cash handling solutions for casinos, sports betting, AGCs and FECs.

The company’s appearance at BEGE will serve as a showcase for its new machine models, which utilise a Linux-based control system, to make the systems more flexible and user friendly.

The PC-based technology additionally enables GeWeTe to offer cash and cashless solutions together with TITO, or as an supplementary feature for operators to add at a later point.

Visitors to the exhibition will also see the latest partnership developments in the company’s electronic purse/membership system, for applications including bingo and sports betting.

The software already connects over 40 different sports betting system providers, and all major casino management system providers.

With the increasing popularity of contactless and Chip & Pin transactions via debit and credit cards, GeWeTe has also evolved its product range to facilitate card transactions.

The full GeWeTe range now incorporates multi-functional cash handling solution in one secure cabinet, with machines providing a standard cash in, cash out service, as well as a redemption system, staff cash float dispenser and deposit system.

“The security of our cabinets is among the best in the market,” added Tsikouras. “With the volume of cash increasing in change machines this has to be a major point to consider when purchasing such equipment.”
