This month, Gaming Partners International (GPI) heads back to Macau for this year’s Global Gaming Expo being held at the Venetian Macao – where it will showcase its latest table game products to its Asian market customer base.
GPI’s extensive suite of chips, plaques and jetons offer customers the latest innovations in design and gaming currency security features. The V-Series is a Bourgogne et Grasset (BG) injection-molded chip that was developed to provide customers an additional gaming currency option with advanced design flexibility. The V-Series chips are unique in that they allow customers to design their chips with a greater amount of versatility. Produced with a new, innovative and highly durable injection material formula, V-Series chips include ChipShield: an anti-fungal agent which helps keep gaming chips cleaner for longer – sustaining a more sanitary chip surface. For customers who order the V-Series with four or more colour shots, the chips come standard with an infra-red security feature exclusive to GPI.
Alongside the V-Series, GPI will have on display its unmatched currency collection, including its beautiful line of European-style plaques and full range of American-style chips. Under the brand names of BG, Bud Jones and Paulson, each currency offering is available with a wide range of currency security features which help gaming properties protect their most valuable asset – their money. Customers can see demonstrations of some of the newer security features, including three-in-one UV and SecuriFilm. Three-in-one UV is a security agent which remains invisible under standard UV wavelengths but is revealed with a special device. Because it can be added to plastic injection-molded chip materials, it is easy to validate chips right at the table when placed in stacks or racks. Compatible with RFID, SecuriFilm is used on a chip’s decal and features a semi-transparent, hologram-like effect. Customers can select from a standard design or create their own custom pattern for added currency protection.
GPI will also be demonstrating its SMART RFID package, which offers the latest advancement is casino currency RFID technology. When used with its Chip Inventory System (CIS) software, SMART delivers a complete currency tracking and authentication solution. SMART can be integrated with third-party software for optimum efficiency. GPI offers all the necessary components from SMART RFID currency – both antennas and readers. SMART is available on all of GPI’s currency brands.
Customers will also see GPI’s table essentials, including its Gemaco playing cards and full graphic EGC layouts. Its popular Gemaco brand line of playing cards – which includes one plastic card type and three paper stock card types – provide customers with an option for all of the card games. EGC layouts provide sharp, full-colour graphics that can duplicate almost any photo or sophisticated design with exact precision. Ideal for all game types, EGC layouts give dealers and players an exceptional playing surface and are a durable and economical choice that provides extraordinary design flexibility.
