Gaming Partners International brought its latest chips, cards and Smart RFID solutions to this year’s G2E Asia, emphasising its range of cutting-edge currency security features.

The table game product supplier took to the exhibition to showcase what it termed its “newest, most innovative products.”

“Currency security ranks high as a priority for gaming operators,” said a statement from the company.

“GPI has risen to this with the introduction of several new, highly advanced currency security options.”

The company’s brand new line of gaming currency, the Bourgogne et Grasset V-Series injection molded chips took pride of place on the company’s stand, boasting a new highly durable injection material formula.

The V-Series, developed to provide customers an additional gaming currency option with advanced chip design flexibility, also includes a wide range of chip and decal security measures including an exclusive infra-red security feature.

The company also demonstrated to a select number of Bourgogne et Gras- set customers the latest Focus security feature, a covert security solution included in the chip molding process.

Additional advanced currency security features on show included GPI’s Hollow Shot, an indentation in the outer ring of chips for counterfeit deterrence, facilitating the inclusion of micro text, graphics and security taggants.

GPI’s Intricate Edge Inserts also formed part of the display, which use the latest manufacturing techniques to include multiple, more complex designs into their chip edge.

Also on show were GPI’s SMART RFID products and solutions. SMART offers faster and more accurate chip reads, and when used with the GPI Casino Inventory System software the system delivers a complete currency tracking and authentication solution.

For table layout needs, GPI’s full graphic EGC layouts were on display, offering sharp, full vibrant, colour graphics to duplicate almost any photo or sophisticated design with precision. Ideal for all game types, the synthetic EGC layouts provide a durable and economical choice, providing notable design flexibility.

Finally, for customer playing card needs, GPI offered its casino quality Gemaco playing card brand, including both paper and plastic card types, with a variety of stocks and finishes for all types of table game play.
