Harris Hagan has won the Award for “Best Regulatory Lawyer or Law Firm of the Year” at the Gambling Compliance Global Regulatory Awards 2019.
This was awarded for “exceptional legal service to clients in the gambling industry”. The Awards recognise excellence in and commitment to responsible gaming and gambling compliance.
Gambling Compliance CEO, Mike Woolfrey said:
“The awards are a highlight of the compliance and responsible gambling calendar. The constantly changing regulatory landscape means that teams and individuals who work in the industry operate in a pressurised environment and who rarely receive the plaudits they deserve.
“The Global Regulatory Awards are the industry’s leading independently judged by an independent panel of leading industry experts. As a result, winning an award at the GRAs is a clear demonstration of dedication to trustworthy gambling and regulatory compliance.”
Partners, Julian Harris, John Hagan and Bahar Alaeddini accepted the Award on behalf of the firm.
“We are very proud to have a team of first class and highly specialist lawyers, who provide an important resource to the firm’s clients during the most challenging time for our industry that we can remember. Winning this Award is timely in our 15th anniversary year and recognises all our lawyers for their endeavours in helping our clients meet to this challenge.
“We extend our warmest thanks and appreciation to our clients and colleagues in the industry for making this possible. This Award is truly also for them and we look forward to working with them in the times ahead,” said a release.
