
Reflecting the show’s World Theatre of Gaming theme, IGT’s ICE portfolio displayed Innovation at Play, offering a diverse breadth of gaming experiences across a range of new and proven hardware solutions bridging the mobile and land-based gaming environments.
Based around the theme of Innovation at Play, IGT presented a vast portfolio of gaming solutions across the gaming, lottery, interactive and betting segments at ICE 2017.
“ICE is the primary industry conference and show for IGT; it’s here that the year starts for us,” said Walter Bugno, IGT’s CEO International.
“Following G2E, ICE is where IGT really brings forward all of the developments that we debuted in Las Vegas, plus the work that we’ve done since, so it’s a great year opener for us and a scene-setter for the rest of our year.
“It’s hugely important and it’s the only show where we’re able to showcase the full spectrum of our solutions in one place.”
IGT’s ICE portfolio included a broad selection of new multi-game, video and mechanical reel solutions.
The company’s high-limit version of the S3000 cabinet made its international debut at the show, and the diversity HD 3, 4 and 5 game suites were also spotlighted, building on the success of IGT’s previous diversity game bundles.
Housed on the Axxis 23/23 cabinet, the new game suites are each comprised of a dozen of IGT’s top-performing titles including Coyote Moon, Kitty Glitter, Ocean Magic, Golden Egypt, and Mystical Mermaid.
IGT also showcased several of its proven performer titles for the CrystalSlant and CrystalDual cabinets which have successfully completed the company’s global test bank process.
Golden Egypt, Ocean Magic, Elephant King, Wolf Ridge and Valley of Gold were among the many video core titles on the company’s stand, along with its Spin-Splosion! automated tournament solution. Powered by Tournament Manager 5.0, this new solution enables operators to efficiently host single or multi-site tournaments.
A number of innovations that leverage emerging technologies to create new player experiences and draw the interest of a wider player demographic were also highlighted at the show.
The company’s Sphinx 4D game took centrestage at ICE, housed on the CrystalCurve True 4D cabinet with a 32” touchscreen display and a 50” ultra-HD, 4K, curved portrait upper display.
Sphinx 4D offers a multi-sensory experience that enhances its glasses-free 3D technology with mid-air haptic and gesture-based technologies, which enable players to touch and manipulate 3D objects emerging from the screen.
The company also displayed its advancements in the skill-based segment, highlighting additions to its Skillcade product portfolio including Race Ace Arcade, which encompass players in a virtual environment and incorporates a motion chair and three gameplay monitors.
