This year’s ICE London event featured several key highlights from across Konami Gaming, Inc.’s global games lineup, including a record library of single screen games, nearly half a dozen dual-screen linked progressives, and the ICE premiere of Konami’s first 4K Ultra HD cabinets.
From February 5 – 7, more than 30,000 gaming representatives and executives from around the world had the chance to tour the latest Konami entertainment. In addition to new screen formats and leading SeleXion® multi-game compatible cabinets, Konami showcased a variety of top-performing slot content including Star Watch MagmaTM, Agent: Magnifying JackpotsTM, Lion CarnivalTM, and Riches with Daikoku Triple SparkleTM. These series and more are slated to arrive to international markets through 2019.
Konami’s curved Concerto CrescentTM and tall Concerto StackTM both feature a stunning 43-inch HD vertical display, with signature Concerto highlights such as the unique side lighting element and sleek black finish. These single-screen formats give players exclusive game content designed to optimize the machines’ extra-tall portrait orientation. Concerto Crescent and Stack both maintain a standard upright base size for flexible configuration across the casino floor.
Among the top Crescent game releases showcased at ICE 2019 is Konami’s new Star Watch series. It uses a similar Strike ZoneTM game mechanic to Celestial Sun Riches and Celestial Moon Riches, but instead of activating a central reel section, players increase their bet to activate entire reel strips from left to right, up to the entire frame. Any prize symbols that land in the Strike Zone award a random credit prize or a wheel spin bonus with guaranteed Mini, Major, Mega, or Maxi jackpot. A player’s selected Strike Zone is also active during the free games, where prize symbols nudge to the fill the entire reel with individual prizes, bonuses, and progressives. Star Watch Magma includes multi-denom options, and both games are available now across global markets.
Further expanding upon Konami’s popular Strike Zone mechanic, Agent: Magnifying JackpotsTM is a 5-reel multi-denom game with scaling 4-level standalone jackpots. Throughout game play, reels outlined in gold are part of the active Strike Zone, which awards nudging full-reel wilds. Players expand the Strike Zone to additional reels at higher bet amounts, up to the entire reel frame. With each spin, areas across all 5 reels are randomly replaced with Maxi, Major, and Mini symbols. Five matching jackpot symbols on a payline instantly award the corresponding prize. Full-reel jackpot symbols on the first reel with full-reel nudging wilds on the remaining reels award the Supreme jackpot.
Inspector: Sign of JackpotsTM is an accompanying theme to Agent: Magnifying Jackpots, featuring a 4-level standalone jackpot and Konami’s popular Strike Zone feature. Which each spin, players have the option to select increasing reel areas as the active Strike Zone area for nudging full-reel wilds that substitute for instant jackpot symbols. As players increase the selected ante bet amount, the Strike Zone expands accordingly. Jackpot symbols appear across all reels, randomly populating with each spin for exciting symbol-driven combinations.
