The Park Casino and Hotel has reported Konami’s Smash Smash Festival, first introduced in the Nova Gorica venue in October 2017, has performed “above and beyond expectations.”
Originally marking the first installation by Konami of the linked progressive title in Slovenia, the ten months following the launch have seen significant performance increases for the HIT Group hotel and casino.
“We’re focused on delivering a rich array of fun and enjoyment for guests to experience,” said Aleksander Skrinjar, head of business development at HIT Group.
“Smash Smash Festival has helped support above and beyond expectations at Park Casino. It has a phenomenal effect that is truly surprising, delightful, and rewarding for so many that enter our doors.”
Smash Smash Festival utilises a gradually increasing number of mystery rewards in a winner- takes-all prize pool, instead of traditional progressive meters. The mystery prizes are hidden in colourful pinatas, which players are encouraged to smash open in order to reveal their prize.
Working the regional distributor Intergames, Park Casino featured Smash Smash Festival across a bank of six Concerto Slant multi-game cabinets, with an overhead LCD sign display.
“Month after month, Smash Smash Festival continues to drive top performance and a strong following,” said Tomac Bavdaz, Park’s assistant slot manager.
“Game play innovations such as this help further reinforce Park Casino’s reputation as the heart of the game, with diverse entertainment offerings for all player preferences.”
