Lichtblau takes over the leadership of Casinos Austria’s domestic operations

Thomas Lichtblau took over the management of Casinos Austria’s domestic operations in mid-September.

In his new role as division manager, Lichtblau will oversee the operator’s 12 Austrian locations. “As with many other industries, the casino business is undergoing a major process of change. To be able to help shape this process for a company as steeped in tradition as Casinos Austria is a special challenge and one I am really looking forward to,” said Lichtblau.

The executive, who previously served as MD of the drugstore chain BIPA, takes over the reins from Christian Lang.

“We are happy to have gained such an experienced manager for this important business area in Thomas Lichtblau,” said Casinos Austria’s general director Bettina Glatz-Kremser. “This ensures that the course we have chosen for the strategic repositioning and further development of the domestic casino business will be successfully continued.”
