The Gauselmann sun is set to shine bright at ICE London 2020, as Merkur Gaming presents its new Avantgarde Max cabinet, while the company will also spotlight the Slant Top Slim version of the Allegro Trio, along with the Treasure Link linked progressive jackpot on its newly redesigned stand.

Merkur Gaming and the entire Gauselmann Group are all set for a “gigantic” show at this year’s ICE London. After restructuring its individual stand areas, the Gauselmann subsidiary has gained even more space to present its products.

The extra square footage will be put to good use as the company presents its new Avantgarde Max cabinet which promises to be huge in every sense of the word. The cabinet offers two to three 31.5” full HD monitors, which set new technical standards and allow players to immerse themselves deeper than ever before into the game.

Meanwhile, loudspeakers mounted at console height, ensure an even more intensive gaming experience due to their improved transmission angle.

The Merkur Gaming theme for 2020 is “Opposites Attract”. In line with this, the Allegro Trio, which was presented as a Slant Top Slim at BEGE Expo 2019, offers the ideal counterpart to the Avantgarde Max.

Featuring an elegant design combined with powerful technology, the Allegro Trio’s 9mm thick screens are practically frameless and thus create almost seamless transitions between the three 27” full HD resolution monitors.

The company will also demonstrate its linked progressive jackpot Treasure Link, which combines five brand-new games – African Glory, Dragon Marbles, Golden Silk, Joker Buffalo and Temple of the Nile – with an exciting entertainment concept.

Each of the basic games has an individual bonus feature called Cash Games that gives the player the chance to win the Treasure Link’s Mini, Midi, Maxi and Mega jackpots. Merkur’s bonus feature innovation Rapid Thunder is also sure to impress attendees at this year’s ICE.

The non-progressive jackpot allows big prizes to be won on five levels and brings the already familiar games Taco Tuesday, Land of Charms, Immortal Emperor, Immortal Princess, Baozang and Amulet of the Pharaoh to an entirely new level.

“These new Merkur products show how the influence of our US game design studio Sunshine Games has also reached Europe,” explained Athanasios ‘Sakis’ Isaakidis, CEO International of Merkur Gaming.

The company will demonstrate its latest multi-game package featuring 12 new titles, including Wild Adventure Big 5 with The Lion King feature and Deep Forest, at the show. At ICE 2020, Merkur will present its Neon collection HD multi-game which is new available in Purple, Yellow, Green, Blue and Red flavours, while the game pack’s menus have undergone a visual redesign.

“We are keeping our promise and are consistently making new and successful gaming systems available to our customers. With a strong tailwind from development, we will continue this course at ICE 2020 also and will thus also serve other markets,” Isaakidis added.

The company will also be exhibiting the Merkur Roulette in both the theatre and hybrid configurations. Developed in collaboration with Slovenia-based Spintec, the product has lead the Gauselmann Group’s entry into the ETG space during the past year.

Merkur Gaming’ s ICE presentation will also include a range of technical solutions. The company will demonstrate its new Mars monitoring and accounting system, which is able to meet the needs of the most diverse operations in the segment.

Additionally, the company will present a range of youth and player protection solutions, ranging from the player-friendly Pin-Center De Luxe terminal solution with ID scanner and the convenient Pin 2 Play variant directly on the machine to mobile activation with Smart-PIN.

Machine activation with biometric youth protection check capability will be also displayed at ICE in the form of Play Safe and Easy Plus. This system utilises a two-stage verification procedure, whereby the player’s age is determined with the aid of a camera and biometric face recognition.

Play Safe combines biometric face recognition with blacklists/whitelists both for player and youth protection.

Exhibiting shoulder to shoulder with the team from Merkur Gaming, fellow Gauselmann Group subsidiaries Blueprint Gaming from the UK, Merkur Dosniha from Spain, GeWeTe, edict egaming and Euro Payment Group will also have a strong presence at ICE and will be on hand to meet with new and existing customers at this year’s show.
