With the FIFA Football World Cup taking place at the same time as the Peru Gaming Show, and given the fanatical following of the sport across Latin America, there is certain to be a sporting flavor at an exhibition that is widely regarded as one of the most friendly in the southern hemisphere.
Merkur Gaming aims to create “a stadium atmosphere” on booth 59 of the Jockey Exhibition Centre in Lima, where the title ‘the beautiful game’ will be fully applicable to both the timing of the football event itself and absolutely to the array of top line games and equipment that will be on display.
Peru represents a gaming model that other LatAm jurisdictions are seeking to follow. Thanks to a very successful regulatory climate, through the role that the governing body Mincetur plays, and also an increasingly sophisticated player base not just in Lima but across the whole of Peru.
Charles Hiten, CEO of Merkur Gaming Americas, predicts another highly successful edition of the Peru Gaming Show: “Merkur Gaming always looks forward to the Peru Gaming Show. It is an event that has a very special atmosphere and one that has proved extremely successful for us.”
Peru Gaming Show naturally has a primary focus on its home country, but also “spreads its wings far and wide across all of Latin America”. Just one reason why the the firm present in Lima includes staff from Argentina, Colombia and Mexico; all supported by gaming specialists from Europe. The company will present top line games and cabinets, including the slant top Avantgarde, now supplemented by the new Avantgarde Trio: shown in Lima in its new look, Black Series model. The firm will also be showcasing the Evostar Black Series cabinet that shows its “pedigree of German innovation and top quality manufacturing”.
“I take this opportunity of welcoming visitors, customers and business partners as, together, we engage in what I predict will be a great show. One that, this year, will have the added attraction of its World Cup football theme: and we are all ready for kick off!” Hitter added.
Merkur Gaming will be joined in Lima by several other companies of the Gauselmann Group, including cash handling experts GeWeTe, edict and Cashpoint who will present their online gaming and sports betting solutions.
