Merkur Gaming celebrated the 15th edition of the Peru Gaming Show as part of a diverse representation of the Gauselmann Group in Lima.

The Gauselmann Group’s representation at the show included cash handling experts GeWeTe and sports betting leaders Cashpoint and edict alongside the dynamic product display of the Gauselmann Group’s local subsidiary, Merkur Gaming Peru.

The Peru Gaming show is a key exhibition for Latin American gaming, with an importance and consequently a visitor attendance that extends far beyond its own national borders. Merkur Gaming acknowledeged this by bringing senior members of the Merkur Gaming Americas network from across the region to take full advantage of the opportunities created by an international attendance.

On display at Peru Gaming Show was Merkur Gaming’s unique Avantgarde slant top, together with its latest evolution, the Avantgarde Trio, and the Merkurstar, and a range of newly released games.

The Avantgarde and Merkurstar cabinets are both already well known and established as favourites with Peru’s leading operators. Merkur Gaming claims it was proud to also demonstrate its latest diverse range of game themes that provide the ‘magic factor’ for the players.

Adding to the theme of diversity Merkur Gaming once again extended its unique brand of hospitality in the form of their Merkur Beer Garden and with musical accompaniment from one of Lima’s top DJs, Maya Marquez, performing live on the booth which was consistently busy throughout the exhibition.

Charles Hiten, Chief Executive, Merkur Gaming Americas, commented: “Following on from the spectacular success of Merkur Gaming Americas at the recent Juegos Miami event our team were truly ‘match fit’ and ready to go here at the Peru Gaming Show. It is a very special show in the Latin American calendar and, given the importance and significance of this year being the 60th anniversary of the Gauselmann Group, it was great to have our booth enhanced by the presence of the GeWeTe, edict and Cashpoint teams. For all of us, the 15 anniversary edition of the Peru Gaming Show proved to be an excellent event where we met old friends, made excellent new contacts and explored exciting commercial possibilities. I wish to congratulate Joe Lopez and his organizational team on the show’s 15th birthday and thank them all for a job well done. Similarly, our Merkur Gaming Americas team worked hard and achieved excellent results, so my thanks to them and also to the many, many visitors that spent time with us and helped to create an absolutely wonderful atmosphere on the Merkur stand at PGS in Lima.”
