Merkur Gaming took their successful Tech Treffen conference and seminar on tour in 2016, expanding it beyond Peru to also include Mexico and Columbia.
[dropcap]T[/dropcap]ech Treffen was first produced as a technical conference in 2013 as a means of communicating more effectively with a vital segment of casino operators workforce.
The 2016 events, held in Mexico City, Lima, and Bogota, used a consistent format and agenda, with Merkur Gaming product manager, Hartmut Sanger, as the keynote speaker.
Our tour will certainly be on the road again in 2017 and, with Merkur Gaming being active in Argentina, we can already see that it will be extended to cover all four of the key countries in Latin American gaming operations.
Tomas Mieles, sales director for Merkur Gaming Americas, said: “Taking Tech Treffen on tour and thus being able to capitalise on the experiences gained over the past three years in Peru has proved to be a fantastic success.

Tech Treffen covered a breadth of topics from initial installation through to in-operation technical requirements and had an average attendance of 50 senior technicians at each venue. Tomas Mieles believes the conference was the first of its type in Mexico and that the value of it was clear to see.
