Next Generation Esports confirms collaboration with Blizzard Entertainment on a multi-month tournament titled Overwatch® Winter Premiere.
[dropcap]N[/dropcap]ext Generation Esports (NGE) has announced a new event working with Blizzard Entertainment called Overwatch® Winter Premiere.
The multi-month tournament will feature Blizzard’s team-based shooter, Overwatch, and will be open to North American teams and online competitors for qualifications from 10 December 2016.

Next Generation Esports will work with Blizzard Entertainment to fully produce, direct, and broadcast the Overwatch Winter Premiere to be streamed online.
The event will comprise of four days of online qualifiers, after which the top eight teams, playing for a share of the $100,000 prize pool, will face off in three weeks of Double Round-Robin group play. The initial rounds will then be followed by a 2-day live finals event in January 2017.
