With Ohio-based seating solutions provider Gasser Chair set to exhibit at the Indian Gaming Tradeshow and Convention this April, Casino Review spoke to customer relationship manager, Jay Buttermore, about some of the stand-out products the company will be presenting at this year’s show.
Casino Review: What will be some of the product highlights on your stand at the Indian Gaming Tradeshow and Convention 2019?
Jay Buttermore: Gasser will be bringing a number of our newest gaming models along with some of our most proven casino seating products.
Gasser just released the Zora Gaming Series at ICE London. This is a fully upholstered gaming chair built around comfort. The Zora features a deep seat lumbar support system designed to cradle the spine and promote a comfortable neutral seating position, encouraging longer play times. The Zora also features Gasser’s patented Flex-Back Technology and Molded Foam Seat and Back cushions for added comfort. With multiple Base options and configurations, the Zora can meet the demands of any gaming area from slot and table games to poker and bingo.
Gasser’s Venturo Gaming Series will also be featured at NIGA. This is a modern take on the traditional Gaming stool and offers a sleek alternative to the traditional aesthetics.
Other notable models in attendance will be the Allegro series, which has been gaining praise from the numerous casino operators and their customers; the Player’s Choice Series, which has been a benchmark for casino seating for many years; and numerous custom solutions that have been built through collaborations and directly addressing Indian Gaming Casino needs.
CR: What will be some of the key focuses for your company at the show?
JB: NIGA is an amazing opportunity for Gasser to start conversations and/or build partnerships with customers. As a true manufacturer, Gasser is positioned to address the needs of our customers at an individual level and NIGA is a great place to have these types of meetings and conversations. Additionally, we rely on customer feedback at shows like NIGA to give us insight and direction when developing new products or improving existing ones.
CR: In terms of tribal gaming, which states offer the greatest potential for market growth for your company at the moment?
JB: We see all states offering greater market potential. Tribes are investing more in the appearance of their properties as a whole and realize that their seating selection has a direct effect on their customer’s experience.
CR: What have been some of your highlights in the tribal gaming market in the last 12 months, e.g. recent installations or partnerships?
JB: We have been fortunate to work with some amazing Indian gaming properties this last year. Some of the larger projects included Chickasaw’s Border Casino and Artesian Casino, Viejas Casino in Southern California, Integrity Gaming, and Harrah’s Buena Vista.
CR: Tribal gaming is currently the fastest growing sector in US land-based gaming, how significant is it for your company?
JB: As an Associate Member of the National Indian Gaming Association, Gasser Chair considers the Tribal gaming market an integral part of our current and future business. We have positioned ourselves to be a one-stop shop for all seating needs and the Indian Gaming Market has responded well.
We have been able to partner with a number of tribes to address specific needs and requirements and look forward to working with more tribes in the future. We continue to appreciate the opportunities and the input we have received on product development.
