International Game Technology (IGT) announced that it has installed 148 slot machines at the recently launched Black Spade Casino at Aloft Hotel Panama in the capital, Panama City.

 

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he company’s devices now occupy 40 percent of the overall gaming machine floor at the gambling facility.

This has been IGT’s largest single-site roll-out of Premium content in Central America, this December’s installation included 30 IGT Premium titles – including Wheel of Fortune Wild Wedges, Dragon’s Temple and Gong Xi Fa Cai – in addition to the CrystalDual, S3000, and prodiGI cabinets.

“Black Spade Casino is introducing players in the region to some of IGT’s most internationally celebrated games and cabinets,” said Brigitte Campbell, IGT’s sales manager for Central America.

She added that IGT hopes its agreement with Black Spade Casino is just the beginning of a long-term partnership providing quality solutions for player acquisition and retention.

“When developing Black Spade Casino we knew that we needed to fill our casino with IGT games to create the most exciting gaming destination in Panama,” said Mario Palafox, Black Spade Casino’s general manager. “By offering players new-to-the-region Premium games along with other IGT content and cabinets, we are confidently delivering engaging casino experiences that appeal to a broad demographic of players.”

Also this month the the developer and supplier has agreed to provide its Advantage casino management system to Las Vegas-based Palms Resort Casino.

Just one month after acquiring Palms Resort Casino, Station Casinos elected to replace the property’s existing casino management system with IGT Advantage with Universal Game Adaptor (UGA) and Service Window solutions and applications.

“Earlier this year, we reached an agreement with IGT to enhance our Advantage casino management system with UGA and Service Window across 19,000 machines and 19 Station Casinos properties,” said Marc J. Falcone, Station Casinos’ executive VP and CFO.

“When we completed our acquisition of the Palms Resort Casino, we extended our investment in our guests by replacing the existing systems with IGT solutions that provide customised bonusing capabilities and incentives that enhance our newly expanded loyalty program,” he added
