
Premiering its biggest ever stand at G2E Las Vegas, Quixant highlighted the benefits of outsourcing computer platform design, enabling their clients to concentrate of creating genre-defining games.
[dropcap]U[/dropcap]K-based Quixant saw another successful G2E, presenting its largest ever stand and showcasing its latest products based around the concept of a gaming ecosystem to both new and existing customers.
“It’s in our DNA as a business,” said COO John Jayal. “For Quixant what the gaming ecosystem means is providing a complete hardware and software solution – incorporating associated monitor devices etcetera – all of which combine to create a platform for customers to write their games on and to power their machines.”
The company aims to communicate to clients the benefits of outsourcing the design of their computer platforms, providing an all-in-one solution that has all the requirements for gaming built-in out of the box.
“What makes a successful machine is a successful game and for our customers their priority is how to make a better game and a better interface,” added Jayal.
“Our products enable them to focus on this instead of losing valuable time developing the software which sits in the lower levels of the operating system.”

Identifying 4K as a significant theme at this year’s show and with a number of manufacturers developing 4K machines, Quixant have launched two new Graphic Card Modules for their high-end casino gaming platform Qmax-1, offering higher powered graphics which will support up to 8GB of GDDR5 video memory.
“4K means the requirements for graphics processing capabilities are getting higher, the graphics cards that we’ve designed for the QMax provide another level of horsepower to drive those high-end games and ensure they look the best they can,” said Jayal.
Quixant also highlighted their monitor line at G2E, the company has strived to create a line of monitors optimised specifically towards gaming and purpose build to integrate with Quixant’s wider product portfolio.
In the last two years the company has made a strategic decision to create solutions combining monitors and boards, incorporating the same innovation that runs through their wider product portfolio.
“As a package this has been very well received at the show and this has been a very attractive model for customers to adopt, we are already a trusted supplier of gaming platforms and our products are known for their durability, reliability and long life,” he added.
As this year draws to a close, Jayal affirms that 2017 will reflect the ongoing evolution of Quixant’s range and will see the company continue to refine and expand their ecosystem concept.
“We aim to further expand the capabilities built into our platforms, monitors will be a key part of this and we will continue to work to innovate in this area incorporating technologies like FreeSync,” he said.
