Finland’s state-owned gaming monopoly, Raha-automaattiyhdistys (RAY), continues to benefit from growth across all digital channels and game categories, with the group reporting a 16.3 per cent rise in active customers in the first half of 2016.
“The digital casino gaming business income rose by 13.8 per cent,” RAY said in August. “Mobile gaming channel margin almost doubled, with growth of 95 per cent compared to the same period last year.”
At the beginning of the year, RAY published a revised website, a channel identity and advertising concept. At the beginning of the summer, RAY-Mobile was launched, which offers games and transactions enriching services to all of the group’s customers.
“We have implemented a very high density of new game releases pace with all digital channels and built a fully entertaining and exciting service package,” noted RAY’s head of digital channels, Jan Hagelberg.
“We have continuously developed the player experience by paying attention to the ease of shopping, entertaining games, personalised services, customer communications and campaigning.
“The strategy, the growth created by the decisions and operational actions have been based on knowledge and understanding of players’ wishes and behaviour. As a result, the work of our service has received excellent customer feedback and more and more Finnish dealings RAY’s digital gaming.”
