Saigon Cuu Long calls in Hilton for new Ho Chi Minh venture

The Vietnamese developers behind a new gaming destination in Ho Chi Minh City have secured the partnership of Hilton Worldwide, which will head up hotel operations at the upcoming property.

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he Saigon Cuu Long Corporation declared that it had signed a deal with Hilton Worldwide last month, which will see the famous hotel chain apply its branding to the entire facility, as well as manage the day-to-day operation of the 350 rooms on site.

Projected for an opening in the fourth quarter of 2019, the new integrated resort is to be marketed as the Hilton Saigon – and will boast two 24-hour restaurants, gym and spa facilities, an outdoor swimming pool, over 16,000 square-feet of business meeting space and an 8,800 square-foot ballroom.

“We have chosen to partner with Hilton Worldwide because of its sterling reputation and deep hotel management expertise,” stated Nguyen Van Kham, chairman of the Saigon Cuu Long Corporation. “Given the strength of the Hilton brand, we are confident that the Hilton Saigon will be the hotel of choice for Ho Chi Minh City’s growing number of visitors.”

Situated at the centre of the Vietnamese capital’s business district – just four miles away from Tan Son Nhat international airport – the Hilton Saigon will be in close proximity to a number of national landmarks, such as the Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica of Saigon and the Saigon Opera House.
