Governor of Nevada, Brian Sandoval, has been confirmed as the headliner for the Howard Hughes Corporation’s ceremony marking the Aristocrat campus.
The Howard Hughes Corporation® will host a special ceremony headlined by Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval to mark the beginning of construction on an 180,000-square-foot build-to-suit campus in the Summerlin® community for Aristocrat Technologies, Inc.
Alongside Governor Sandoval at the Howard Hughes Corp event, which takes place on Friday, June 23 at 1:30pm, will be a number of other key figures including; Clark County Commissioner Susan Brager; Kevin T. Orrock, President in Summerlin for The Howard Hughes Corporation; and, Matt Wilson, Managing Director of the Americas at Aristocrat Technologies, Inc.
Aristocrat’s new Summerlin campus allows the company to consolidate several of its Las Vegas facilities in one location and will eventually house more than 600 employees upon completion in late 2018.
The company claims this relocation is in line with a growing corporate trend to locate workplaces closer to communities, boosting quality of life and providing employees with access to more nearby amenities. In Summerlin, this includes parks, golf courses, walking trails and Downtown Summerlin®, located just minutes from the new Aristocrat campus.
The two-building campus is located on the corner of Hualapai Way and the 215 Beltway and includes two three-story, tilt-up concrete structures of approximately 90,000 square feet each. Project architect is Ed Vance & Associates Architects; interior architect is HOK; and the general contractor is Martin-Harris Construction.
