Zitro, the Spain-based provider of casino slots and interactive games, has announced the appointment of Sebastian Salat as CEO.

Johnny Ortiz, president of Zitro, said: “The growth of Zitro’s business and our company’s great potential – both in jurisdictions where we have no presence at the moment and on the web – needs people with the experience, the prestige, and the contacts that Sebastian has developed during his extensive career in the gaming industry. That’s why I have great pleasure in announcing Sebastian’s appointment as the new CEO of Zitro.”

Prior to this new appointment, Salat was international president and member of the executive committee of WMS Gaming for almost 16 years, having previously spent 15 years as the head of Unidesa Gaming, the Cirsa Group company responsible for the design and commercialisation of gaming machines for the international market.

“Zitro’s bingo games, the wealth of systems supporting those bingo games, the success of the World of Bingo social casino and the increasing presence of Zitro content on the Internet, are a solid base for the growth of the company’s business,” Salat said.

“I am deeply grateful to our president for placing his trust in me, and happy and excited about the opportunity to work with the tremendously qualified team of professionals at Zitro in this new stage of my career.”
