It’s not what you do, it’s the way that you do it. And Casino Game Maker has made certain that with its electronic baccarat tables, more games for players is the way to go.

[dropcap]C[/dropcap]asino Game Maker has been a stalwart of the MGSEntertainment show, marking its fourth outing at the Government-backed trade exhibition in as many years.

Clearly a place it likes to do business, the company displayed its range of ETGs and slots, but the focus president and CEO Andrzej Surmacz was keen to emphasise was on content: whatever the type of game, he explained, the key is making the game content appealing to the modern type of player.

Surmacz cited his company’s developments with its electronic baccarat table as an example: “In typical baccarat you have one dealer and eight players, but what we have done with our baccarat is change that relationship. We gave one player and eight dealers. So there are eight games of baccarat going on at any given moment, and players are able to bet on one to eight outcomes.”

This is a much more of an individual experience, and if you are not a very experienced player and you just want to learn it’s much more comfortable.

The move has proved a successful one for the company: “This makes the games much faster. The trends are being built eight times faster and players can jump on those trends when they think it’s best.

“This is attractive to players because the attention span of gamblers has decreased in general, people are just not very relaxed nowadays and things are happening much faster.”

By examining the psychology of players, Casino Game Maker has been able to design games that cater to different types of gamblers. With Macau trying to bring in more of the mass market, Surmacz has made sure his ETGs are accessible to less experienced players.

He added: “It is less intimidating than the baccarat tables, which are quite scary places for beginners. This is a much more of an individual experience, and if you are not a very experienced player and you just want to learn it’s much more comfortable.”
