Just 90 miles north of New York City, Resorts World Catskills opened its doors to an eager public at the beginning of February.

The integrated casino resort boasts 100,000 square feet of casino gaming including 150 live table games, 2,150 state-of-the art slot machines, and a poker room. Offering VIP high-limit areas which include private gaming salons, as well as 10 varied bar and restaurant experiences, the complex also comprises a 2,500-seat event centre, 332 luxury hotel suites, a spa, two indoor pools, and two fitness centre.

TCS John Huxley said it was “delighted” to be chosen to supply the state-of-the-art property with all of its 154 gaming tables and array of live gaming equipment. The firm worked closely with the Resort World Catskills team, to produce a range of custom designed tables manufactured in the US to reflect the casino’s modern styling. All the tables featured UltraLeather arm rests and solid surface drinks rails along with specific layout colours to designate various gaming areas around the casino floor. A selection of tables were also fitted with USB charging stations to further assist players.

“We are proud to have partnered with Greg Stewart and TCS John Huxley to bring the best gaming tables and live gaming equipment to Resorts World Catskills,” said Jack Kennedy, executive director of Table Games for Resorts World Catskills.

In addition to exclusively supplying the extensive range of gaming tables, the company also equipped the property with ten of its popular Saturn Roulette Wheels and Chipper Champ 2 chipping machines. To compliment the gaming tables, e-FXTM 29” Displays and Omni Glo Baccarat Displays were also supplied along with a variety of gaming accessories.

To enhance the gaming floor, the casino chose to install the latest Blaze LED Surface Technology products for their Sicbo and Big 6 games. Designed to “literally light up the game”, Blazes’ patented high resolution graphics provide “the ability to create detailed and powerful animations that excite players and improve game speed and security”.

Commenting on the recent collaboration with TCS John Huxley, Kennedy said: “Their custom-designed tables and convenient features like USB charging stations and solid surface drink rails contribute to the luxurious world-class gaming experiences we strive to provide for our guests, and collaborating with their team on everything from logistics to installation was a seamless process.”
