Transact and its distribution partner, Suzo-Happ, will bring a full suite of tech and print solutions, including the Epic Edge, to this year’s Australia Gaming Expo.

TransAct Technologies Incorporated will demonstrate a comprehensive suite of gaming technology and print solutions at the 2017 Australasian Gaming Expo (“AGE 2017”), to be held August 15-17, 2017 at the International Convention Center Sydney Darling Harbour in Sydney, Australia.

The company’s display (Booth #470), in conjunction with its distribution partner Suzo-Happ, will include a full lineup of Epic® casino, gaming and lottery ticket printers, led by the new Epic Edge™, as well as the latest versions of the Epicentral® promotion and bonusing system, including version 3.8 and Epicentral System Edition (“Epicentral SE”).

Bart C. Shuldman, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of TransAct Technologies, said: “The printed coupon is a proven, effective way to drive casino play and grow revenue. We believe that our leading print and technology solutions, including our all-new Epic Edge gaming device printer and industry-unique Epicentral promotion and bonusing system, are uniquely positioned to help operators capitalize on this key opportunity. In particular, our entire team is eager to demonstrate at AGE 2017 the ability of our solutions to easily deliver valuable printed coupons directly to players at the slot machine or electronic table game of their choice.”

The company claims its next-generation Epic Edge, the first ticket-in/ticket out (“TITO”) printer to offer 300 dpi print resolution, builds on proven performance of TransAct’s industry-leading Epic 950 to deliver a host of technological advances.

Other key features include:

  • An adjustable ticket bucket allowing operators to use smaller tickets to save money and reduce paper usage
  • Single outer chassis with Serial, USB and Netplex ports to allow the printer to work with any machine type
  • Hot swap capability to eliminate game downtime
  • Two high-speed interfaces for firmware and graphics updates: USB and Micro SD
  • Upgraded ServerPort™ connection
  • Rugged metal chassis design

“We are always looking for ways to refine our products and solutions so that they improve our customers’ operations and the industry-first high-resolution print capabilities of our new Epic Edge are a clear example of these efforts,” added Mr. Shuldman. “In dramatically extending the technical, feature and performance leadership of our flagship gaming device printer, TransAct is allowing our customers to provide casino patrons with the industry’s highest quality printed tickets, resulting in reduced bill validator errors and better coupon design for Epicentral implementations.”

Transact will also display two of its Epicentral solutions at AGE 2017, the Epicentral v3.8 and the Epicentral SE.

In addition, the company will also demonstrate at AGE 2017 an array of its award-winning Epic printing systems for gaming devices, self-service kiosks and lottery installations, including: Epic 950; Epic Table Top Enclosure; Epic 883®; Epic 430; and, the Epic 3000®.
