It has been announced by the Sauk Suiattle Indians that the tribe is to develop a casino and bingo property in the west of its native state of Washington.

Following multiple unsuccessful attempts by the group to open its own gaming facility a proposal in conjunction with the Shoalwater Bay Indian Tribe has now been given the go ahead.

According to casino manager Nino Maltos the property, to be called Last Chance Casino and Bingo, will have up to 200 slot machines, as well as a small bar, in addition to a 70-seat bingo hall will also act as a venue for live shows.

The grand opening of the venue is planned for 1 September this year with construction to be managed by Willapa Bay Enterprise CEO Johnny Winokur.

Maltos added that should the project find its reach extending to visitors as well as locals then further expansions of the site are to be considered.
