A new business initiative, Yggdrasil Dragons, will be launched at ICE to support entrepreneurs and businesses in the gaming industry.
[dropcap]Y[/dropcap]ggdrasil Gaming has confirmed it will launch its latest business initiative at ICE Totally Gaming to provide a platform to entrepreneurs and businesses.
Titled, Yggdrasil Dragons, the company claims this will allow entrepreneurs and gaming businesses with new and exciting ideas to access Yggdrasil’s vast resources, experience, and knowledge.
The scheme will give its new partners access to Yggdrasil Gaming’s world-class technical framework, robust licensing structure, large operator networks and talent teams, as well as direct funding when necessary. Yggdrasil Dragons will consider any business proposal, but is mainly interested in those that will enable Yggdrasil to enter new markets and product verticals, particularly in both live and social products and technologies fields.
Fredrik Elmqvist, CEO at Yggdrasil Gaming, said: “The online gambling industry is fiercely competitive, and we often see individuals and businesses with great ideas fall by the wayside simply because they don’t have access to the right support and assistance to get their proposition off the ground.
“Over the years, Yggdrasil Gaming has built a solid and successful business that includes a powerful technical framework, licensing capabilities in markets all over the world, and a team of talented and amazing professionals that continue to drive us forward. We want to open this up to other entrepreneurs and gaming firms to help them achieve their goals.”
He added: “We see this as being mutually beneficial. Our partners can tap into our resources and experience, and in turn we gain access to new game verticals, products, features, tools and ideas. We believe this is an efficient and effective strategy to grow the Yggdrasil business without having to acquire companies and take on the risks that come with M&A.
“We are launching Yggdrasil Dragons at ICE Totally Gaming, and I encourage any entrepreneurs or businesses who want to work with us to come to the Yggdrasil Temple and pitch their ideas to the team.”
Representatives from Yggdrasil Dragons will be at the Yggdrasil Temple, stand N3-140, throughout ICE to hear from individuals, entrepreneurs and small businesses looking to take their innovative idea or product to the next level.
